My name is Michael Regnier and I am a writer of sorts. I used to describe myself here as an occasional playwright. Occasional being the operative word as I haven’t produced a play since 2005. A Certain Confusion was my chance to get writing regularly, get some thoughts and ideas swirling around the exordia, and, hopefully, lead me back into the theatre….
However, I am also a science writer for the Wellcome Trust, a job I began in July 2011. How my science writing will interact with my desire to write more theatre and fiction remains to be seen, but as the job has developed – and grown to encompass a new publication, Mosaic – I’ve been thinking more about my approach to science writing as a particular genre among all the other writing I want to do.
If you want to know how my mind works, I am slowly uploading it here: Discreet Dictionary.
